Vivo TV – Open Signal: Game of Thrones
Winter came to the banners: interactive performance pieces for Vivo TV’s Game of Thrones season 7 promotion, with animated snow in HTML5.
Context
The seventh season of Game of Thrones, themed “Winter is here”, was the hook for an exclusive Vivo TV promotion in 2017. The mission was to adapt the campaign into a full set of performance pieces across many formats.
The solution
Beyond the static versions, we created animated pieces with an interactive snow effect built in HTML5 — a detail that brought the show’s atmosphere into the banner format. The campaign was also organised in stages, with pieces for each moment of the promotion.
All assets used were licensed by HBO.
